the differences between an online gallery and a mobile app
Did you know that in addition to the online gallery which is included as part of my portrait session packages, each session also includes a mobile app that can be installed on phones and tablets, shared easily with family and friends, and viewed whenever you like?
After I’ve posted your images to my gallery server you will receive two emails from me: one contains the link to your online gallery, the other contains the link to your mobile app.
So what’s the difference between galleries and apps?
Galleries:
have an expiration date
can be shared with family and friends
require an email address and password to enter
allow you to view the session images, place print orders, and download digital image files
Mobile Apps:
do not require a password to view
app images are for viewing and can not be downloaded
can be installed on phones and tablets including Apple, Android, and others
mobile apps never expire and stay on your phone or tablet unless you delete them
the app can easily be shared with family and friends by forwarding the original email or using the share icon in the app

After clicking the link in the mobile app email you’ll have the option to install the app on your home screen.
When you see this screen you’re ready to install your app:

Once installed, your app icon will appear on your device:

Clicking the installed app icon will open your gallery:
From here you can:
swipe up to see thumbnails of your images
click on a particular image to enlarge it
click it again to go back to thumbnail view
explore the icons at the bottom of the app to see my studio information and social media accounts
share your app with friends, family, and your own social media accounts
